Children’s Miracle Network and Arena Football League Partner for First Nationwide Celebration Event

SALT LAKE CITY, May 19 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ — The Arena football League (AFL) has partnered with Children’s Miracle Network to help save and improve the lives of children at children’s hospitals throughout the United States. The AFL has designated May 27 - June 9 of the 2008 regular season as AFL Children’s Miracle Network Celebration.
The objective of AFL Children’s Miracle Network Celebration is to generate awareness and raise funds for Children’s Miracle Network hospitals. There are many activities planned for “Celebration” games including: player and dance team hospital visits, in-arena recognition and celebration of the children helped by Children’s Miracle Network hospitals, Children’s Miracle Network player uniform and merchandise auctions, autographed Celebration-branded, game-used footballs and special priced tickets with a portion of the proceeds going to Children’s Miracle Network hospitals.
